Last Tuesday, December 12th, the Shrewsbury Fire Department attended an emergency regarding a Grumman mail truck by USPS that caught fire in the Wachusett Avenue area.

Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said the fire was reported at 6:54 a.m. in the 1100 block of Forest Glen Court SE. When firefighters responded, the passenger area of a United States Postal Service truck was on fire.

Carthage firefighters and the US Postal Service clean up after a Postal Truck caught fire. The road should be reopened soon. Some of the packages were salvaged.

Mail truck catches fire in San Pablo, CA

The truck hit a pole and burst into flames around 9 a.m. today, according to the CHP traffic log. The driver was able to escape the vehicle with minor injuries, the CHP said.

Two Wayzata fire trucks responded to what looks like a postal service truck that caught on fire on westbound U.S. Highway 12, around 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, backing up traffic for miles.

Ohio – Another day at the post office!!! This was a brand new rca’s truck yesterday. She risked her life along with some customers lives to get the mail out of the truck.
