Postal truck fire – Grafton Massachusetts

Upon arrival the mail carrier was fully involved and crews made quick work of getting it under control. The Postmaster was called to the scene to secure its contents. There were no injuries.

USPS mail truck fire – Ashby, MA

A fire truck is stationed near a smoke-filled scene in a residential area, with firefighters engaging in emergency response. A vehicle is partially obscured by smoke, and a decorative lamp post is visible in the grassy foreground.

Today the Ashby Police Department and Ashby FIRE EMS Association Inc. were dispatched to a USPS vehicle on fire and close to a residence. AFD arrived and was able to extinguish the fire before it made it to the house. The house sustained damage to the siding due to the heat of the fire. Great Job Ashby Fire.

Last Tuesday, December 12th, the Shrewsbury Fire Department attended an emergency regarding a Grumman mail truck by USPS that caught fire in the Wachusett Avenue area.
