Mail truck catches fire in Hanover, PA

Hanover Area Fire & Rescue Chief Tony Clauser said a mechanic was checking the truck after a report of the odor of something burning. The mechanic started the truck and heard a pop, and the truck burst into flames.

It’s finally happened to us in South Central PA. You’ve seen the pictures from other offices around the nation.  Thankfully, it burst into flames in the parking lot and our carrier was not injured

USPS Truck Catches Fire in Orange, TX

A postal worker in Orange escaped injury Monday afternoon when her mail truck caught fire near the post office downtown. However the vehicle was not as fortunate.

Joe Mack, who lives in the neighborhood, shared a photo and video showing the entire front of the United States Postal Service truck missing, the rest of the truck charred by an apparent fire.
