Earlier today, a company recall(on duty and on-call members) was dispatched to a mail truck on fire, reportedly fully involved on Hartford Ave West near Mowry St. Car -1, Squad 44, and L5 (off-duty Lieutenant) responded swiftly.

Around 11:30 today Station 21 and Engine 26 Narberth Fire Company were dispatched to Lancaster Avenue in the area of Remington Road for a vehicle fire, reported to be a mail truck on fire

Thank goodness our mail carrier which is where I work ! Bethlehem, PA . Was okay today ! Someone was looking out for him ! Need to replace these firetraps bring on the new trucks !

Postal truck fire – Pennsylvania

HVFC was dispatched at 4:15 pm for a vehicle fire on Welsh Road and Lieberman Drive. Deputy 8 confirmed a mail truck on fire. No injuries.

Mail truck catches fire in Hanover, PA

Hanover Area Fire & Rescue Chief Tony Clauser said a mechanic was checking the truck after a report of the odor of something burning. The mechanic started the truck and heard a pop, and the truck burst into flames.

It’s finally happened to us in South Central PA. You’ve seen the pictures from other offices around the nation.  Thankfully, it burst into flames in the parking lot and our carrier was not injured
