Postal mail delivery truck explodes in Iowa neighborhood

On July 14, at approximately 3:49 PM, the Mason City Fire Department was dispatched for the report of a truck that exploded at 126 Winnebago Way. Fire crews arrived and found a US Postal Service delivery truck on fire.

Cedar Rapids firefighters respond to mail truck fire

Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said the fire was reported at 6:54 a.m. in the 1100 block of Forest Glen Court SE. When firefighters responded, the passenger area of a United States Postal Service truck was on fire.
