Around 3:26 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department and Seneca Falls Fire Department were dispatched to a vehicle fire on East Bayard Street.
LITTLE HOCKING — A mail delivery truck caught fire Friday shortly before noon on Dugan Road near Millbranch Road in Belpre Township, according to Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Chief Mike Chevalier.
Today the Ashby Police Department and Ashby FIRE EMS Association Inc. were dispatched to a USPS vehicle on fire and close to a residence. AFD arrived and was able to extinguish the fire before it made it to the house. The house sustained damage to the siding due to the heat of the fire. Great Job Ashby Fire.
Firefighters believe the driver went off the road and ran over two pole mounted road reflectors. Shortly after, the vehicle stopped and caught on fire.
