NELSON, Ill. — Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries and a mail carrier vehicle caught fire after a two-vehicle crash on Nelson Road on Saturday, July 11, officials say.
Upon arrival, the mail carrier vehicle was on fire. Deputies determined that the mail carrier was delivering mail to the energy plant nearby.
Both drivers and a passenger were transported for their injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
