HAMDEN — A U.S. Postal Service mail carrier quickly removed all the mail inside their delivery truck when it caught fire Monday in Hamden, officials said.
The fire broke out sometime in the morning hours on Birchwood Road, according to the Hamden Fire Department.
The department added the fire eventually was extinguished, but did not immediately provide further information on it.
